1. Oasis City - Original Day
We’d be remiss if we didn’t start this article with a map as aptly named as the Oasis City! Surrounded by sturdy sandstone walls, this desert city impeccably embodies the bustle and vibrance of an oasis amidst the sandy dunes.
Sandstone buildings rise amidst palm trees and golden sand, accentuating streets filled with merchant tents and colorful wares. Just outside the city walls, a serene oasis with crystal-blue water serves as a refreshing retreat for weary travelers and grazing camels alike.
Use this map to immerse your players in the lively atmosphere of a thriving desert city, where they can engage in trade, browse through rare treasures, and forge connections with important NPCs—making for a perfect hub to rest at in between their desert adventures. Moss and algae creep up the robot’s corroded chassis and the hilt of an enormous sword sunken near it, an untold story about the passage of time and nature’s reclaiming touch. Adding to the mystery is a nearby settlement built on the shore—that can raise more questions or provide context to your players.
